Had a wonderful time relaxing in our private onsen every morning and enjoying the delicious Japanese-style breakfast! The on-site onsen facilities are top-notch and perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The only downside was how chilly the outdoor shower could get, but it’s a small price to pay for such a cozy experience! 😊

Excellent food comparable to fine dining experiences.
We were truly frustrated with the state of the hotel. Everything felt dated and unkempt. The carpet was filthy, and we were shocked by the poor maintenance in the room. Having to sleep on a very thin futon with only one uncomfortable pillow was unbearable. The dinner we had was tasteless, leaving us feeling disappointed after paying a premium price. The shuttle schedule was ridiculous. it left us feeling rushed and forced to check out early.

Amazing traditional stay
Spent 2 nights in a fantastic room with a private bath. The food was sooo good—huge portions! Staff were super nice and always helpful. Loved the little touches like fresh flowers and tasty treats waiting for us. Just wish the check-out time was a bit later—it felt rushed. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

The onsen experience was incredible and truly unique, though
the room lacked an indoor shower which made it a bit inconvenient. However, the stunning open-air bath and traditional futons made up for it, and the staff was very accommodating, providing excellent service throughout our stay.

great onsen experience, but limited room amenities
The variety of private onsens available was impressive, providing an intimate experience. We particularly enjoyed the exceptional kaiseki meals, which were beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The staff were attentive and made our stay feel special, catering to our needs without being intrusive. After a day of exploring, soaking in the onsens felt like pure bliss.
The room lacked an indoor shower, which made cleanliness a bit of a challenge.
